Welcome to the official site for the 2008 Parachute Guy Awards. My amateur ass alternative to the Oscars or the
MTV Video Awards. If you are one of the nominees, what is the prize? You receive an e-trophy to put on your MySpace
page. So check out the all-new way to vote-- a YouTube video. How does this work you say? Well the video
plays like an awards show and you click the video you want to win. Clicking the video you want to win takes you to one
of the pages on this site to log the vote. When voting closes, I'll tally how many times each page was visited and go
from there.
I will have the video up soon here on the front page, on my YouTube channel and hopefully on MySpace somewhere (bulletin,
profile, etc.).
Voting for the awards will last about one month. Then I will upload the same video with the winners announced.
If you would like to make a speech, then let me know and I'll put it in the video for you. Maximum 30 seconds.
The voting categories are listed on this site and they will be listed on the video as well.
The two major branches are "A New Beginning" and "Music Videos".
